I purchased chassis No.4 in late 1988 after seeing BRMMMMM at the Motor Show that year (It was not even a running car at that time but I did not know!!!) It took another ten or so months to source parts and build and paint and finally it was registered I think Oct/Nov 1989.
Neil Fraser asked me if I would become their second employee and do a bit of part time work for them to help Chris Barrow, so I agreed to do two or three months – but somehow this developed into seven years!!!! It was a great pleasure to have been a part of such an entrepreneurial enterprise.
004 enabled me to gain a motor racing licence and partake in some low-key motor sport: never won a race, but was never last! I am very proud of Fraser Cars.
