The Launch of the Mosquito

The Fraser Car Club ventured over to Ardmore early on Saturday morning, which was just as well as the traffic into Ardmore later that morning was heavy, to say the least.

We knew we were in for a special day, but nothing really prepared us for the launch of the restored Mosquito. It was done in style, in the morning and continued to be showcased throughout the day. What a magnificent machine. The entire airshow was stunning, as were the many, many cars on display. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but it is near impossible to describe the elation of the crowd and the sound of the engines, as well as the delights in the sky; you really had to be there.
